After several failed attempts over the past few months, I think I may be ready to blog again...maybe! I like having a place to document family happenings but for some reason, I just haven't been in the mood to blog since, oh, sometime back in April! I'm giving it another go, however, and what better reason to start back up than a birthday "party!"
Lucy turns two tomorrow and we celebrated with a little family shindig this afternoon. When she woke up from a nap, she came downstairs to balloons and presents.
She was still a little dazed here, but she loved the balloons.
It didn't take her long to notice the gifts!

Cake time! I took the picture after she blew out the candles and while we were singing happy birthday she tried to dive right in to the cake, so just ignore the fingerprints!
I love this sequence of pictures. She enjoyed her cake and never unclenched the lalaloopsy doll. (Oh, and we did give her a fork, you can even see it in some of the pictures, she just chose not to use it!)
