I can't believe this guy turned three years old today!
We had a great time celebrating with just the six of us. He chose Firehouse for dinner and then we came home to party! Sam kept changing his mind about what kind of party theme he wanted so we just combined some of his favorite things - Toy Story, Cars, and Super Heroes. We made our own homemade version of "the claw" game from Toy Story and the kids loved it! We played games, ate cake, opened gifts, and facetimed (yes, I'm making that a verb) with the grandparents. We all had a lot of fun and Sam loved it!

So the story behind this ugly cake is that I just never got around to ordering anything because the birthday boy kept changing his mind. I went to three different grocery stores this morning and this is the best I could come up with! We went with Iron Man, Rex, Lightning McQueen, Hulk, and Mater to represent his loves at the moment!

It was a fun evening and I still can't believe our little baby buddy is already three years old!
